STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Strength dominant exercises (Squat, Bench, Deadlift etc) that tax your nervous system and really get your whole body fired up for the week. This class is guaranteed to improve your strength, physique and performance.

Conditioning – building a strong heart and lungs is essential for quality of life. This element of our class normally lasts 10 to 20 minutes. It prepares you for higher intensity work and challenges your ability to work hard, recover, and repeat that work again. This is the ultimate fat and sweat buster.

KILLER CORE

A fantastic way to tone and strengthen your abdominals, glutes, back, hamstrings and quads. This 1 hour class builds core strength and endurance. It is a tough and challenging class resulting in improved posture, flexibility, and strength. All exercises are fully adaptable making this class suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Very popular classes amongst our members who describe these classes as fun and tough. We  have 2 types of circuits classes:

S & C Circuits: A full body workout combining strength and cardio exercises as you work through the stations. With 3-4 minutes per station you perform as many reps as possible at each station within that time frame working to your own capabilities.

CIIRCUIT TRAINING: A more strutured class. The time spent on each station is more rigid with timed work and rest periods (usually 40 seconds on 20 seconds rest). Each exercise will be performed 3 times before moving on to the next station.

With the excpetion of Friday morning (Cardio Friday), all of our circuit classes combine full body strength, core and cardio exercises.

Using a variety of equipment and layouts these classes will always keep you on your toes.

MOBILITY & FLEXIBILTY

Are you sitting in work all day? Have tight muscles after training? Don’t know how to stretch properly? Then this class is for you. We use resistance bands, foam rollers, stability balls & cushions, wobble cushions, trigger point balls and more to lengthen muscles and improve posture.

STRENGTH ONLY

A tough and challenging class designed to build muscular strength and endurance. This class utilises compound lifts providing strength through range of movement working to, and building on, 5 rep max. This class requires  correct lifting techniques and as such is not suiable for beginners.

NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS

CARDIAC FITNESS

STARTING SEPTEMBER!

Want to exercise but been diagnosed with  cardiovascular disease? This class is perfect for you!

Led by a fully qaulified clinical exercise professional this class will work your cardiovascular system, exercising within your limtiations,  targeting calcuated heart rate ranges ensuring safe exercise prescription.

An Uptivo heart rate monitor is prefered for this class  as heart rates can be tracked on screen in class, but not essential.

JOINT FITNESS

STARTING SEPTEMBER!

Joint inflamation? Oesteoarthritis? Arthritis? Joing replacement? Cartilage wear and tear? This class is designed to keep you moving!

Low impact joint exercises designed to build muscular strength and endurance in the muscles that surround the joints, helping to ease pain and keep you moving for longer.

Using a variety of equipment and layouts these classes will always keep you on your toes.
